ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports’ Pinoy Pride X Public Workout on Saturday

On Saturday, December 3, 2011, the Filipino fighters of Pinoy Pride X will be treating fight fans to a public workout session at the SM City Cebu at 5 PM. This event will be one way for boxing aficionados to assess how their favorite ring warriors have prepared for their next fights all happening on December 10, 2011 at the Hoops Dome, Lapu-Lapu City.

The session will feature reigning IBF International Featherweight Champion Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista, whose shot for the world championship will be determined when he faces Mexico’s certified knockout artist, Miguel Angel Mendoza.

Mendoza has an immaculate record of 17 wins and 17 knockouts without a defeat and his opponents last no more than five rounds with him.

This fight may bring Bautista closer to a world championship title and will definitely be an addition to Mendoza’s rank among professional fighters.

Boxing fans will also be seeing OPBF Flyweight Champion Rocky “The Road Warrior” Fuentes, who is set to face-off with WBC International Silver Light Flyweight titlist Lookdiaw Tor Buamas of Thailand. Genesis “Azukal” Servania will engage in a battle of Super Bantamweight prospects when he faces his Mexican counterpart, Marcos “Geraldito” Cardenas.

Cardenas W 12 L 0 KO 9 is undefeated in his professional career and will be facing undefeated Filipino counterpart Genesis “Azukal” Servania. This will be the first time in the PINOY PRIDE boxing mega-series to feature two undefeated Mexicans to mix it up against our Filipino fighters.

The exciting matchups in Pinoy Pride X and successes in previous installments have prompted sponsors to immediately forge a partnership with ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports. The IBF International Featherweight Championship is supported by partner brands namely: Cobra Tunay na Lakas Energy Drink, Summit Natural Drinking Water, KIA Motors Cebu, SM Super Malls, Radisson Blu Hotel, EGI Resort and Hotel, Harolds Hotel, Pacific Mall Mandaue, Maya Mexican Restaurant, Mooon Café, and Abaca Resort.
