“Boom Boom” Bautista in Pilipinas Got Talent
Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista will make a guest appearance in ABS-CBN’s Pilipinas Got Talent tonight, as he will share the Ynares Sports Center stage with the finalists of the third season of the hottest show in the country.
The show’s organizers recognize Bautista as one of the country’s achievers, which is why he will be featured along with other top-caliber go-getters from the Philippines together with contestants vying for the championship.
Bautista is an impressive fighter who sports a 31-2-0 record since making his debut in a week before his 17th birthday.
Now, at age 25, he has had a rich history of titles in various divisions. He has also faced some of the toughest fighters in boxing, like Daniel Ponce de Leon, Sergio Medina, Antonio Meza, Genaro Camargo, Alejandro Barrera, and Heriberto Ruiz, whom he defeated in the seventh round last June.
Bautista is the reigning IBF International Featherweight Champion and is rated #5 in the said boxing organization.
Boom Boom is riding on a five fight winning streak now and is scheduled to meet a yet to be named opponent in the main feature of the fast rising boxing television show PINOY PRIDE on December 10, 2011 at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu, Philippines.
The final showdown of Pilipinas Got Talent will happen on October 22 at 8 in the evening where the show will be airing performances of the contestants for Sunday’s final judgment.
